Responsible Gambling Awareness Week

Responsible Gambling Awareness Week is an annual initiative to increase awareness of gambling and gambling harm in the NSW community. It is an opportunity to increase the community’s understanding of risky gambling behaviour, encourage gamblers to recognise when their gambling may place them at risk of harm, and provide information on practical ways to keep their gambling under control.

In 2019, Responsible Gambling Awareness Week will be held from Monday 16 September- Sunday 22 September.

RGAW 2018

During Responsible Gambling Awareness Week 2018, people were invited to check in with themselves, friends, and family about their gambling.  They could do this by using the tools and information available on this website - or by simply starting a conversation.

A number of resources were developed for Responsible Gambling Awareness Week.  Please see the resources section for more information.
