The Responsible Gambling Fund (RGF) receives income from a levy on each casino licence in NSW as prescribed in the Casino Control Act 1992 (Section 115).
The objective of the RGF is to play a key role in advising the NSW Government on the allocation of funds for programs and initiatives that promote responsible gambling and help reduce the harms associated with problem gambling. For the full range of programs and initiatives supported by the RGF see the Responsible Gambling Fund section of this site.
From time to time the RGF also offers funding for proposals through an open grants program for one-off projects that support innovation in the area of harm minimisation, intervention and responsible gambling. To register interest in the RGF grants please see funding opportunities.
